Vacation rentals – how to report mortgage interest paid and insurance paid?
If I have a rental property if I file the tax return the mortgage interest and insurance is paid for, I was under (1) "Rental Real Estate" report, 1040, line 17, or (2) Schedule A, Itemized Deduction? Thanks
How many days have you rented the house? Do you have at home for personal use. If strictly a rental property then on Schedule E.
